Ahead of the biggest TV night of the year, Lambrini surprised one lucky fan with a visit from X Factor runner-up Marcus Collins

When Holly from Manchester heard a knock on the door during her Friday night in, the last person she expected to see was Marcus.

The pair enjoyed gossiping over Friday night TV together and drinking delicious Lambrini cocktails. Holly was even treated to a live singing performance from Marcus right there in her living room!

Marcus Collins said: “It was great to drop in on a fan and experience their take on a night in. I had an amazing time on The X Factor, so I can understand why so many people like Holly are such big fans of the show.”

As women all over the UK start to prep for a fab night in watching the Strictly Come Dancing and X Factor finals, Lambrini commissioned a survey asking them how they’ll be spending their time and money.

The research showed that 33% of women stay in just for the entertainment value that The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing provide.
A further 34% admitted to tuning in to these shows just to disagree with the celeb judge’s comments. Whether or not they’d say it to Simon’s face though is another question!

Lastly, let’s also not underestimate the power of chocolate too, as 35% of those surveyed revealed that a night in is not fully complete without snacks and chocolate.

Michelle Raworth, Lambrini’s brand manager said: “Television is central to our lives and influencing the way we socialise with our friends. These programmes have now become television events – and a great reason for staying in, rather than going out.”

We can’t wait to see what the finals bring!
